Over the weekend, a prominent New York City imam and his son were kept from flying on a plane from New York City to Charlotte, North Carolina.  The two cleared TSA screening but American Airlines denied them permission to board.

We regretfully have more incidents of discrimination and violence against Muslims to report from all corners of the country.

On Sunday evening, just a few hours after President Obama announced Osama Bin Laden's death, vandals sprayed graffiti on a Portland, Maine mosque, reading "Osama Today, Islam Tomorrow" and "Long Live the West."

Even if I wanted to celebrate, I’m too busy worrying.  Today, many Sikh, Muslim, and Arab American families, brace for violence, concerned that Americans will target those who “look like” the Osama bin Laden we just destroyed.
